For more than 10 years Gábor Halász has been creating electronic music and sound design. He is a self-taught producer who first begins to set Hip-Hop beats at a very young age and records local rappers. Shortly after starting his professional dance education he starts to learn about music in a artistic way. Later he explores Ambient music for years. In 2007 he creates his first original soundtrack for a contemporary dance piece. Today most of his choreographies are created with his own electronic music which is uniquely prepared by using samples collected by himself. He continuously seeks for higher sound quality and creates fine textures for his music. He participated in dance performances as live performer and he also creates soundtracks for other choreographers; for the projects of Yasuyuki Endo, Company Pál Fenák, Tellabor Dance Company, IN-PACT Production, Aoife McAttemny, Nahimana Wandenbuche, Małgorzata Zofia Czajowska, Erika Vasas. In 2014 he releases a collection with the title “Marseille Swing”. In 2019 he also participates in an event in Hannover with the painter Walter Padao where Gábor plays music live at live painting and improvised dance performance . In 2018 he starts to research on classical instruments and voice used in electronic music. This working process called AcousTronic is still under development. He also makes music for commercial purpose on request.
